We had a very successful and productive workshop day at CVPR. Thank you all for your efforts and contributions!!
We are all excited about working closely with each other and building up this line of research on egocentric vision. Many things were discussed at the Fontainebleau and a plan is being worked out. Please stay tuned!

The deadlines have been extended!
In order to provide enough time for the authors to prepare their submissions, we have made an effort to expediate the review process and further extend the final deadline. Full paper submissions are now due Sunday, March 29, 2009, at 11:59pm PDT. Please register your paper no later than Monday, March 23, 2009.

The workshop submission
site is now open! The submissions should follow the CVPR guidelines, in PDF
format, and have a maximum of eight (8) pages. The authors should make sure
that no other paper with substantial overlap will be submitted or under review
during March 23 - April 6rd. The reviews will be double-blind. All accepted
papers will be archived in IEEE eXplore. Please freel free to contact us
if you have any questions.
We welcome the submission of original and quality research work, polished as much as in progress. |

The workshop website is up! Welcome to the First Workshop on Egocentric Vision, held in conjunction with CVPR 2009, on June 20, 2009 at Miami Beach, Florida. We call for a converged effort to address the challenges and opportunities of egocentric vision emerging in a world populated with personal and "wearable" cameras. Please check out the preliminary call for papers for a description of the purpose and scope of this workshop. |
