- My research spans boundaries across networking, systems, security, privacy, and users. I truely believe in pushing low-level innovation all the way to end users through efficient system integration, useable interface, and meaningful user control. My current research focuses on developing new mechanisms that give users visibility into how their personal data is used by applications and services running on their personal devices and enable users to control their privacy sensitive data. Most recently, we developed TaintDroid, an information flow tracking system on the Android Mobile platform and used TaintDroid to evaluate the behavior of many Android applications (See our TaintDroid paper submission for details).
- I've been practicing yoga for over ten years and currently into Vinyasa yoga. Before having babies, I enjoyed scuba diving (a certified diver) and doved in many beatiful places including Dominica, Thailand, Corsica, Bahamas, Belize, and Cozumel. I enjoy not only watching fishes, but also eating them in raw. :-) My favorite sushi restaurants include a small resturatant in the Tsukiji market in Tokyo, Fugakyu in Boston, and Nishino and Umi Sakehouse in Seattle.
- Though I enjoy reading (well-written) technical papers, I've already reviewed over 60 papers this year and unlikely accept any more paper review requests. You may want to look for other reviewers or I can give you recommandation. :P
